I still use it frequently. I use an SD memory card to load my music on, and just switch the card in and out whenever I feel the need. I bought this a year ago, and I love it. It's not a fancy "iPod" - but it plays music just the same for a FRACTION of the cost. Super easy to use.Would not buy it for kids - the folder function is a bit confusing for them.and they'd go through the batteries. The only thing I can find to 'complain' about, is that the battery life (triple A) is short. But the bonus there - it's a triple A battery - EASY to change - no waiting for a 'charge'.It's a great, basic MP3 player - worth the money.
The consensus was although the manual says it supports playlists, it really doesn't. Earplugs are adequate, a little big for my ears but they didn't fall out. They are friendly and polite, best of all they are native English speakers.
FM receiver is OK, I didn't try presets. If you just want to play songs a few hours a week this is great. The sound is good.
I called customer support 3 times. The random play isn't very random. That is all I wanted.
Unfortunately since this is an old product they are not familiar with it. I tried for hours & couldn't make it work.
I installed it but Windows reports no driver. But I'm agrreivated. I put it because one of the reviews here said the player came with a CD that had the Windows 98 driver. Fortunantly I bought it locally and can return it. Don't lie in reviews. Well it didn't. And the driver at Coby's web site doesn't work.
Battery lasts maybe 5 hours. Priced right, works fine. I'm not happy with the usb connection, it broke in the first week, so all of my music is on the 1 gig sd card I put in.
